To transfer your domain out of your Rebel account and into your account at a different registrar you must first obtain your domain's unique authorization code. To get this code please follow these simple steps:
Step 1.
Login to your Rebel account and click on the Domain Manager.
Step 2.
Click on your domain name to access the edit page.
Step 3.
Once you are on the edit page scroll down until you find Transfer and click on the link that reads Send Transfer Authorization Code To Admin Contact. By clicking this link the domain will automatically be unlocked for a duration of 10 days. After 10 days the code will expire and lock the domain.
An email containing the code will be sent to your domain's administrative email address. If you are unsure of which email is currently listed as your admin contact you can check by scrolling through the edit page for your domain until you find Domain Contacts. If you need to change your administrative email address please reference our article: How do I edit my domain contacts?
Please note, if you have Ownership Protection enabled, you must remove it from your domain to make it transferable. Here is our article explaining the removal process: How do I disable Ownership Protection?
