To register a .ASIA domain, you must meet the Charter Eligibility Requirement (CED). This requirement ensures that all .ASIA domain registrations have a connection to the Asia-Pacific region.
Who is eligible?
You are eligible to register a .ASIA domain if you meet at least one of the following:
- Individuals (natural persons)
- Corporations or companies
- Partnerships, cooperatives, or collectives
- Government bodies, municipalities, or public institutions
- Associations, societies, trusts, or other organizations
What is a Contact of Presence (CPE)?
A Contact of Presence (CPE) is a designated contact based in the Asia-Pacific region that satisfies the eligibility requirement on behalf of the registrant.
In many cases, your registrar can provide a CPE service, allowing you to register a .ASIA domain even if you are not physically located in the region.
