What is an email client?

An email client refers to a program used to access and manage a user's email. For example, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Thunderbird are all email clients. They are considered third party because they are not Rebel's software.

Can you help me with errors caused by the email client?

While we always do our best to help our customers troubleshoot their issues, we are only able to control issues pertaining to the email accounts and servers. We can help you to troubleshoot some issues, however we are limited in the support we can provide for the email clients themselves, as these email clients are provided and controlled by a third party that is neither Rebel or the customer. We are able to provide support for as long as the developing company of the email client is providing support, but cannot provide aid with software that is obsolete.

Which email clients are you unable to provide support for?

We are unable to provide software troubleshooting support for:

• Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, and 2010
• Windows Live Mail
• Apple Mail for MacOs Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra, and Mojave
• Any unlisted email client older than six years

I use one of these email clients. Is there anything you can do for me?

If you use an email client we cannot provide support for, our agents are always able to give you the IMAP and POP3 settings for your Rebel-hosted email accounts. The settings will include your incoming and outgoing servers, port numbers, and your username and password.

I am experiencing errors with my IMAP/POP3 account.
