Updates
It’s important to keep your WordPress Themes and Plugins up to date. Run all suggested updates as they appear in the header of your WordPress Dashboard. Regular updates help protect your site from security vulnerabilities and ensure that hackers can’t exploit outdated software. Staying current also helps your website run smoothly and efficiently.
Users
By default, your WordPress username is set to “admin.” While this is convenient, it’s best to create a unique username for added security. A custom username makes it much harder for unauthorized users to access your Dashboard.

Quick Login
To access your WordPress Dashboard quickly, just add /admin to the end of your domain name in your browser’s address bar.
For example: yourdomain.com/admin
This shortcut will take you straight to your WordPress login page.
