Classic Webhosting: Pathfinder, Adventurer, and Globetrotter
For Pathfinder, Adventurer and Globetrotter hosting, you can install WordPress through the following steps:
Step 1.
Log in to your Rebel account, then select "Products" in the top-left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see "Hosting”. Please select this.
Step 2.
Click the purple button that reads "Control Panel". This will open the Hosting OS in a new tab.
Step 3.
From the left-hand menu, select "WordPress".
Step 4.
Enter your Blog Title and Admin Email in the fields provided. You can update these details later through your WordPress admin dashboard if needed.
By default, your new site will be hosted at yourdomainname.tld. If you prefer, you can choose to host it at blog.yourdomainname.tld instead.
When you’re ready, click Install WordPress Application to complete the installation process.
Webhosting (Plesk): Person/Startup/Business, Managed WordPress, VPS
For Plesk hosting, please follow these steps to install WordPress:
Step 1.
Log in to your Rebel account, then select "Products" in the top-left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see "Hosting”. Please select this.
Step 2.
Click the purple button that reads "Control Panel". This will open the Hosting OS in a new tab.
Step 3.
From the left-hand menu, select "WordPress".
Step 4.
In the upper left side, select "Install" under the Installations option.
Step 5.
Fill out the Install WordPress form. A default username and password will be automatically generated for you, but you can change them if you prefer.
After installation, you can access your WordPress site directly through your Plesk control panel. If you’d also like to log in directly to WordPress, click the eye icon next to the password field to view your generated password, or set your own custom login credentials before completing the installation.
Once the form is complete, select "Install".
