With a new hosting package with Rebel, our migration team will be able to help migrate your existing site and emails to your new package. Once you reach out to our migration team, here's what happens:

The Details

After reaching out, you’ll receive a welcome email outlining the migration process and what to expect. Our team will:

• Help you choose the right hosting plan for your needs.

• Request secure access to your current website and email accounts.

• Provide a safe and encrypted way to share your login details so your information is always protected

Data Import

Once we have everything we need, we’ll:

• Add your new hosting package to your Rebel account.

• Import your website data and email content.

During this process, your domain will still point to your old host, meaning your site will stay live and uninterrupted. You’ll be consulted before any changes are made to your domain settings.

You might see some automated emails as services are added to your account. Don’t worry, our team will make sure you know exactly what’s happening at every step.

Configuration

Next, we’ll configure and test your website on our hosting platform to ensure everything works perfectly before it goes live. This includes checking performance, links, and functionality to confirm that your site looks and behaves just as it should.

Changing Nameservers

Once testing is complete and you’ve approved the setup, we’ll work with you to schedule a time to switch your nameservers. This change will direct your domain to your new Rebel hosting package.

We’ll coordinate the timing carefully to make sure the transition is seamless, with no downtime for your website or email.

Email Setup

After your nameservers are updated, you may receive new email passwords and need to reconnect your accounts on your devices.
