Overview
While website building, custom coding, and web application management are typically self-managed, we provide server-level tools and backup restoration services to help you clean your site if it becomes infected or compromised.
If your website is displaying malware warnings, redirecting to unknown pages, or injecting unauthorized scripts, you can scan your files using our built-in server security suite or request a clean backup restore with a support agent.
Step 1: Scan & Clean Files with Imunify360 in Plesk
All hosting accounts include access to Imunify360, a server-level security scanner located inside your Plesk control panel that automatically detects, quarantines, and cleans malicious files.
Log in to your main account dashboard.
Navigate to Products > Hosting and click Control Panel to open Plesk.
Select the affected Domain Name from your dashboard.
Locate and click on the Imunify360 icon.
Run a full site scan to review infected files. Imunify360 will automatically attempt to quarantine or clean malicious code found within your core directories.
Step 2: Restore a Clean Backup (Live Agent Required)
If malware has corrupted core WordPress or database files beyond repair, the fastest solution is rolling your site back to a clean state saved prior to the infection (within the last 30 days).
Because restoring server backups overwrites current site files and requires verifying that the selected restore point is clean, this step requires assistance from a Live Agent.
Action: Connect directly with a Live Agent through this chat window.
What to tell the specialist:
Provide the Domain Name affected by the virus or malware.
Let the agent know the approximate date when the site was last working normally and clean of malware.
