How to use Rebel Vibe Platform

In this article we will cover the basic features Rebel Vibe has to help build your dream website:

Chat Box: 

Use the chat box in the lower-left corner to request changes or additions to your website. Click inside the box and type what you’d like the builder to do.

• Upload images: Click the image icon in the lower-left corner of the chat box to upload images for your website.
• Send your message: Once you’ve finished typing, click the icon in the lower-right corner of the chat box.

Navigating your website: 

You can browse your website directly in the builder, just as you would on a regular website. Click its links or menu items to move between pages.

You can also use the drop-down menu below your website’s name to choose the page you want to view.

History: 

History lets you view earlier versions of your website and undo changes. To open it, click the clock icon in the upper toolbar, above Package Info.

This will lead you to all of your previous website versions, showing the date, time, and prompt that was used. 

To return to an earlier version:

1. Find the version you want to restore in your history.
2. Click the three dots on its right-hand side.
3. Select Revert to this version.

Bookmarks: 

Bookmark website versions you like so you can find them easily later.

1. Open History using the clock icon in the upper toolbar.

      2. Click the bookmark icon on the right-hand side of the version you want to bookmark.

To view all your bookmarked versions, click the bookmark icon in the upper-right corner of the history panel.

Files:

The Files panel shows all files you’ve uploaded to Rebel Vibe, including those you haven’t used on your website. To open it, click the file icon in the upper toolbar, above Package Info.

From here, you can select files to download or delete:

• Select individual files: Use the checkbox to the right of each file.
• Select all files: Click the checkbox in the upper-left corner.
• Download selected files: Click Download in the upper-right corner.
• Delete selected files: Click Delete in the upper-right corner. 

Preview Site: 

To see your website in a full browser tab, click the rightmost icon in the lower toolbar. This opens a new tab where you can browse your site.

Mobile version: 

Click the monitor icon in the lower toolbar to switch to the mobile view. This lets you see how your website looks on a mobile screen while editing.

Save/publish changes: 

Any changes that are made are saved automatically once they have been completed. You can find previous versions in History.

To publish your latest changes, click Publish changes in the upper-right corner.

Publishing your site to a test site: 

When you build your first website, it is automatically published at a randomly generated test URL. This address is not connected to a custom domain.

To share the link:

1. Click Site settings in the upper-right corner.
2. Click the icon next to the URL to copy the link.
3. Share it with others so they can view your website.

Publishing your site to your custom domain: 

When you build your first website, it is automatically published at a randomly generated test URL. To connect your own personal domain, you will need to do the following: 

1. Click Site settings in the upper-right corner 
2. Click Publish to custom domain

Take your site offline:

To take your website offline completely:

1. Click Site settings in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Take Offline.
3. Click Confirm to apply the change.
