Congratulations on securing an aftermarket premium domain! Because aftermarket domains (such as .com, .net, or .org names owned by private sellers on networks like Afternic or Sedo) involve procuring the domain from an external third-party seller, the activation process requires a few administrative steps to safely transfer the domain into your account.

The Post-Purchase Process: Step-by-Step

1. Automatic Queue Routing & Priority Processing

Once your order is placed, it enters our processing backlog:
  • Standard Queue: Our operations team automatically processes purchases in the order they are received.

  • Fast-Track Processing: If you want to expedite the transaction immediately, contact our Support Team via phone, live chat, or email. Please provide your Invoice Number and the Domain Name so our agents can locate your order and route it directly to our manual processing team.

2. Written Confirmation of Terms (Required)

Because aftermarket domain procurements involve binding external agreements and irreversible acquisition costs with third-party networks, we require written confirmation before we buy the domain from the seller.

Our manual processing team will send an email requiring your explicit agreement to the following terms:
Important Policy Notice:
  • Non-Refundable Policy: Once we complete the purchase transaction with the broker/seller to secure your domain, acquisition costs are immediately committed and non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Final Sale: Due to registry and aftermarket vendor policies, premium domain purchases cannot be canceled or refunded once processed.
Action Required: You must reply directly to that email to confirm your agreement. For security and audit purposes, this confirmation must be in writing via email and cannot be accepted over a phone call or chat.

3. Domain Transfer & Acquisition

Once we receive your written confirmation:
  1. Our fulfillment team pays the aftermarket network (e.g., Afternic or Sedo) and initiates the secure transfer.

  2. We obtain the official authorization (EPP) code from the seller and submit the transfer to the registry.

  3. Our team will keep you updated via email at every stage of the transfer.

4. Final Activation & Timeline

Standard registry transfer rules require a 5-day pending transfer period for existing domains moving between registrars.
  • Timeline: After the 5-day transfer window clears, the domain will automatically land in your account as Active.

  • Completion: Our processing team will send a final confirmation email as soon as the domain is live and ready for you to manage, link to a website, or set up with email!
